- I am a tech lead and AI engineer at ByteDance, focusing on building practical AI systems and products since January 2026.
- Prior to ByteDance, I spent four years at Huawei as a tech lead and AI researcher, leading projects on post-training, agentic reinforcement learning, and domain-specific large language models for the telecom industry.
- From 2019 to 2022, I was a Data & Applied Scientist in Azure Machine Learning at Microsoft Cloud & AI Platform, working on end-to-end solutions for AutoML and privacy-preserving AI, from algorithm design to large-scale deployment.
- I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics from Iowa State University and a B.S. from the School of the Gifted Young at the University of Science and Technology of China, with early experience at eBay, Liberty Mutual, and OIST.
- My work sits at the intersection of research and engineering, with a focus on making AI systems more automated, reliable, and interpretable in production environments.
